It’s January, the month in which Brethren in Christ congregations are asked to complete several end-of-year reports. This year, in addition to the usual financial, statistical, and personnel reports, the information collection process includes a Statement of Physical Condition survey to be completed by each person for whom your church provides health care coverage.

Cooperation in completing the Statement of Physical Condition is a critical next step as the Brethren in Christ Church works toward re-introducing a denominationally based health insurance plan in the United States. One hundred percent participation is essential to the preparation of a rate proposal. Cooperation by congregations will also be an indicator of grassroots support for a church-wide health insurance plan.
