Last month, Connie and I traveled to the BIC Navajo Mission in the high desert of New Mexico for the annual meeting of the Midwest Conference. Arriving early, we took a day to visit BIC global workers working among the Navajo. In missiological terms, the Navajo Native Americans are considered a least-reached people group. Yet our missionaries and workers in New Mexico are striving valiantly, creatively, sensitively, and persistently to bring the Good News to a people who have experienced great suffering.

In Part continues “We believe” series
As BIC U.S. faces a pivotal time in its history, In Part magazine has launched “We believe,” a four-part series that invites readers to rediscover and reaffirm what unites us as Brethren in Christ—our beliefs, our faith, our identity in Christ. To that end, four issues of the magazine will be devoted to examining the theological streams that are the source of our unique heritage and convictions. In Part's most recent spring 2013 issue examined our Pietist-inspired convictions and the prophetic word they have for us today.
