GC 2012 minutes expected in March
BIC U.S. has compiled the minutes from General Conference 2012; however it’s waiting to receive audited financial information from the independent firm that reviews the Church’s finances. BIC U.S. expects to mail the minutes out to churches in early March. Please contact BIC Communications at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
General Church Finance Team
Since July 1, 2012, Andrew Steckbeck, a partner at Simon Lever LLP (Lancaster, Pa.), has been serving as acting executive director of finance, a role that brings him to BIC U.S. offices one day per week. His contract with BIC U.S. ended on December 31, 2012; however, based upon the strong leadership Andrew has provided to the finance team, BIC U.S. is extending his service.
In Part launches “We believe” series
As BIC U.S. faces a pivotal time in its history, In Part magazine has initiated “We believe,” a four-part series that invites readers to rediscover and reaffirm what unites us as Brethren in Christ—our beliefs, our faith, our identity in Christ. To that end, four issues of the magazine will be devoted to examining the theological streams that are the source of our unique heritage and convictions. In Part's winter 2012 issue marked the beginning of the series by examining Anabaptism and the prophetic word it offers us today. View the articles »
