BIC U.S. Finances

We continue to be deeply grateful for the partnership of congregations and individuals as they provide financial resources for our shared ministries. Together we can do what we cannot do alone - support the mission of the church around the world and across the nation. We partner together with missionaries, agencies and organizations, regional conferences in global mission projects, church planting, compassion, and theological education. Thank you for your partnership. You are making a difference.

We encourage every congregation to partner with other congregations and individuals by giving 10% of their undesignated tithes and offerings to (what is currently called) Cooperative Ministries. In addition, we also encourage congregations and individuals to prayerfully and financially support our global work through missionary team-based-funding and global projects. Remember, in partnership together we can do more than any of us can do alone.

Memorial Holiness Camp

Memorial Holiness Camp Meeting was held July 18-26 in West Milton, Ohio. John Hawbaker was one of the camp speakers for the week and a team of office staff and missionaries were also in attendance. It was encouraging to see the vibrant youth program at MHC, which was led this year by a team from Messiah College. Five teens/young adults responded to the message on missions day, sensing a call to serve Christ cross-culturally.

Roxbury Camp Meeting

The 79th annual Roxbury Camp Meeting was held August 1-10. Prior to Missions Day on August 6, we held a Global Team workshop for missionaries on home ministry and those enrolled in the Missionary Development Program. This four day event was held at the Byers Conference Center. These days are always a great time of fellowship and encouragement for both missionaries and staff. We were pleased to have Alan Robinson join in the sessions, culminating in a powerful time of prayer and communion on the last day. Read more »
