BIC pastor joins MMA's board of directors
(posted 10/31/06) Stephen Lane, pastor of Redland Valley Brethren in Christ Church (Yorkhaven, Pa.) was recently appointed to the board of directors for Mennonite Mutual Aid (MMA). Representing the Brethren in Christ denomination, Lane joined the 12-member board for a four-year term starting at MMA’s board meeting on October 20–21, 2006.
Lane has pastored at Redland Valley BIC since 2001. He is also an adjunct instructor at Messiah College (Grantham, Pa.) Prior to joining the staff of Redland Valley BIC, Lane served as a pastor in other congregations, including the Grantham (Pa.) BIC Church. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, and his master’s in divinity and doctorate in ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (South Hamilton, Mass.)
Lane and his wife, Elizabeth, live in York Haven, Pa., and are members of Redland Valley BIC.
