2016 Youth Quest
For many, a highlight of BIC ministry has been YouthQuest - the General Church conference for youth. However, decreased attendance and income has led to discontinuing plans for a 2016 event. Leadership Council would like to talk with pastors, youth pastors, youth, and parents, so that, together, alternative means and methods for youth ministry can continue. In its 54th year, the Sponsorship Program for International Children's Education (SPICE) has grown into a network of 9 hostels across India and Nepal, supporting over 800 students per year. For just 58 cents a day ($210/year), sponsors provide children with access to clean water, nutritious meals, group housing, nurturing community, medical provision, education, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus. White Oak Lodges open at CRC
Christian Retreat Center (East Waterford, Pa.), sponsored by the Allegheny and Susquehanna Conferences of the BIC U.S., recently celebrated the opening of White Oak Lodge. Opportunities at Kenbrook
Kenbrook Bible Camp (Lebanon, Pa.) is seeking young men and women over age 18 who feel called by God to work at camp this summer. There is a great group already in place, but a few more key roles still need to be filled. Anyone who is interested, should contact Nicholas Patton at, or apply online.
