General Conference 2016 Registration Now Open
Join us July 5-11, 2016 for our upcoming General Conference at Stetson University. For the first time ever, General Conference will be combined with both a global family retreat and a ministry enrichment retreat, bringing our entire BIC U.S. family together as one for the week. Meet the Cassels
Mike and Lori Cassel first sensed the Lord calling them to missions work after Mike went on a short-term missions trip to Honduras in 1999. For the past ten years, Mike and Lori served in Mexico, helping plant churches and ministering to the lost and hurting in their community. New Threads Post - Family Dynamics
"There is a lot of tension in living where a never-changing God and an ever-changing world meet." In a recent Threads post, BIC U.S. national director, Alan Robinson reflects on the proposed updates to the MDG bylaws and why it's important that the systems which govern us reflect the current and future needs of the church. Announcing Lynn Thrush as Bishop Nominee
With bishop John Zuck's retirement in July, we are pleased to announce Lynn Thrush as the nominee to become bishop of the Great Lakes Conference. The Great Lakes Conference search committee made their nomination in February, which was confirmed by General Conference Board. Pending confirmation by the regional conference, Lynn and his wife, Carol, will be installed at the upcoming General Conference in July and begin this role on August 1, 2016. Learn more »

Whether you're a pastor seeking credentialing or someone simply interested in learning more about the BIC, consider signing up for an upcoming core course. These four courses are a great way to learn about the history, doctrinal convictions, and leadership structure of the BIC U.S. Courses are held every year and are a required component in the credentialing process.
