Asturias Project

#1648

Annual Budget: $1,800
(effective March 7, 2019)

Remaining Need: $1,800
(as of April 30, 2019)

For a number of years, the BIC Church in Spain has been sensing a call to evangelize Asturias, one of the least-reached regions of Spain. About 45 percent of its towns do not have any evangelical witness. Ultimately, we’re intending to form a Christ-centered community along the region’s Way of Saint James (Camino de Santiago), the world-renowned path for pilgrims. However, we are in the preliminary phases of planning for this ministry. We’d like to conduct several exploratory trips in the region to better understand its demographics, needs, and ministry opportunities.
