About Sam

I'm originally from Roaring Spring, Pa., the oldest of three kids. I moved to Dillsburg two and a half years ago having graduated in May 2010 from Juniata College with a bachelor’s in mathematics.

I’m a member at Mt. Pleasant Church of God in Dillsburg, where I play guitar for the worship team, help with the youth ministry and serve as a mentor.

This past summer, I served as a data entry assistant at the BIC General Church offices, where my supervisor told me about the job opening at BIC World Missions.

In high school I had served on a short-term mission trip to Gamerco, Nm. with my church. We helped to run a VBS for a Navajo church. My parents have also led multiple ACTS (Advancing Christ Through Service) teams to Haiti through the Church of God.

I am still trying to discern my call. I have a servant’s heart and a willingness to help wherever a need exists. I am excited to do the background work that allows missionaries to spread the gospel.

In my free time I love playing hockey and pretty much any other athletic endeavor and spending time with family and friends.
